Vaping In The News – February 19th-25th, 2017
This weeks collection of Vaping In The News includes Tobacco Control BMJ, Censorship, Steve Forbes, Refreshing Journalism, CASAA / HR1136, Bill Godshall, Cole-Bishop HR1136 Canada and Vlad The Vaper.
I won’t bore you with my usual (insert witty and thought-provoking editorial comment here) views on it all, so let us get straight to Vaping In The News:
This week, much to my amusement, Tobacco Control BMJ finds itself in the hot seat when (it) wanted to
assert take control. “They” decided to take some to task with this sad example of a scream test in their own echo chamber.

tweeted taunted this:
“We intend to post all eLetters approved by the Editor within 7-14 days, which must contribute substantially to the topic however it is at our absolute discretion whether we publish and timeframes cannot be guaranteed.”
I was intrigued with an article written by Gary Wood here (with audio)
I wasn’t surprised with the quality of the article, having seen this a few days before:
Keep that up, Mr. Wood, and thank you.
Steve Forbes, (Yes, him) who has written before about the issues at hand, has another article:
“…a perverse mind-set reigns among health regulators and fanatical antismoking crusaders…”
A Writer at FEE, the Foundation for Economic Education, Brittany Hunter has written
This Could Be the Last Stand for Vaping. It is refreshing to see a journalist taking time to see the whole picture.
I’ve seen Brittany before on Twitter here with

“…for those who are chomping at the bit to get started, this week is an excellent time to engage in face-to-face engagement with lawmakers.”
Brent Stafford, of Regulator Watch has yet another investigative report about Canada and regulations they’re facing.
