The American Lung Association: Reducing Tobacco. The Litmus Test & Ulterior Motives

defendantsIt looks good on paper, doesn’t it? The caring about the children. The battle cry of well respected organizations, backed by other respected organizations.

It seems to the average reader or viewer to be well thought out concern. Their scathing letter to the President is below.

They must have one common goal. Tobacco harm reduction for the children. It says so right in the letter below! Well, I’d beg to differ, but I’m all over begging. I’m going to tell you the truth.

Litmus Test: A test that uses a single indicator to prompt a decision.

Reduction of tobacco USE worldwide is “everyone in public healths” goal.

Think about that.

The World Health Organization (W.H.O.) recently said they had a

TWENTY-FIVE year GOAL to reduce smoking.

That’s not a goal, that’s a plan to keep revenue.

Here’s the Litmus Test:

Do e-cigarettes reduce tobacco use?

Yes.

That should do it for ANY ORGANIZATION pretending they want less smoking.

Responsible organizations like (M.O.V.E) say e-cigarettes should be encouraged.

Period.

Those are Doctors. Scientists. Researchers. Medical Professionals. Are they all wrong?

There’s plenty of research but the irresponsible organizations in the photo above and letter they’ve SIGNED below are conveniently omitting from their calculations of math on the “worries of children” and public health.

Wait… they’re calculating the numbers… and it isn’t working out to their advantage.  What you may not realize is that

THESE ORGANIZATIONS ARE A BUSINESS. FUNDING.

Now the irresponsible letter to the President from these people and their organizations, it’s short and to their point. I would think if I had the President’s attention, I’d mention the efforts in reducing tobacco. They want “regulation”.

Notice their letter doesn’t show any science, doesn’t ask to reduce TOBACCO, (they want to keep it around) just claims of children, flavors, and regulations (for tax revenue purposes) on e-cigarette use.

The Lung Association deleted it from their website, but this is a PDF

Why The CDC Has It Wrong About The Rise In Teen Vaping

Why are they so rushed to want the President to take action? Are they REALLY worried about kids?

I believe a couple on this list might actually care about children. I don’t think they do. They all have ulterior motive.

That’s harsh to say, right? You’d think so, but wait! They SIGNED their NAMES to this.  I’m just calling them out.

Litmus Test: A test that uses a single indicator to prompt a decision.

Litmus Test. Do e-cigs take revenue away from organizations, both private and public? YES.

They most certainly do. That’s more like it.

Tobacco?

Of course! They’re LOSING cigarette sales! That’s why they’re falling on themselves to get into the market. Think of the money they’re losing!

Public Health?

Yep. All forms of smoking-related health care will be needed less….and already IS. Doctor visits, hospital visits…less cancer, less heart issues…. breathing issues… less COPD… the list is endless. In ten years, if these organizations don’t get their way…

Think of the money they’re losing!

Tobacco Control – Research – Anti-Tobacco Services.

Lung Association, Stop smoking clinics. You know the rest….

Grants! Donations! $$$ Customers $$$  !

Think of the money they’re losing!

Pharmaceutical Companies!

Drug companies can’t sell their drugs to stop smoking (which if I remember have about a 7% success rate) and the drugs they also manufacture and SELL because of smoking illnesses….   $$$$$

Think of the money they’re losing!

Government? Well…. they’ve got the winning hand.

Yes they do. TAXES.

Think of the money they’re losing!

Their Ponzi Scheme

Are vaping and e-cigarettes are working and worthwhile as a harm reduction device?

When those who will lose money and not profit from it respond so vehemently and irresponsibly to it, something is wrong. They are not being truthful, and they have their financial reasons for it.

If they oppose it, they want you to smoke. If they know the “dangers” they claim, (MUCH LESS than smoking) they’d FIX those expediently with great care, and end tobacco as we know it in ten years. Not in 25. No sense in doing that, they won’t profit from it.

If there Is a deafening silence, they’re making profit already.

Think of the money they’re losing!

      1. I’ve been chewing on a blog in my head to the effect of “How far can we go” in reference to what’s “over the top” in our positions. I’m not sure there’s a top at this point.
